Templar or Attacker?

Well what class is hardest to kill? I know both is a pain in the ass and i need good PvP builds for both of them including skills,stats,weapon/armors/stones!

Templar build as requested....lvl 99

I. The ever talked about "Pure Dex Templar"

minimum STR
minimum CON
all DEX

I personally have never tried this templar build out myself so I cannot really say if it really is good or not, but basing on the stats, you can get a decent sword or blunt weapon (doesn't really matter unless you really like stuns), a decent 165 con armor and a decent 165con block arm... Cooldown will be pretty fast, plus you get to move around really fast too. This goes well because you can spam your net, charge and fatal attack a lot, which is deadly for solo raiding or 1v1.

II. Basic, Common Templar

208 STR (use sword with mastery)
167 CON
rest DEX

the common templar build, bigger damage, decent defense and fast cooldowns and run speed. This is what most templar build are like.

III. Defensive Templar

188/198 STR (use sword with mastery)
175 CON
rest dex

with this build, you get a slower templar, lower damage but a big boost in defense and extra defense because of the 175con armor that you will have. Make sure you get a good one though. Try to farm for a good 188/198 str sword at least you won't give out too low of a damage from fatal attack.

IV. Turtle Templar

208 CON
100 DEX
rest STR

this is the build most often used in official servers because of levelling purposes. You will still be wearing the 175con armor, but you will have to find the top blunt weapon so you can make up for the lost strength, which will still not be enough if you really want to get some kills. You will be really tough though, but you run slower than everyone else.


Notes:
For me I prefer the second templar build, because it is already proven to be effective. The PURE DEX build is tempting to try though, if you want you can do that, but you should expect to dish out lesser damage than other people.

V. Skills

4.6 sword or blunt mastery = 24 points
4.0 fatal attack = 18 points
4.6 guard = 24 points
4.3 slight attack = 21 points
3.0 evade = 12 points

Templar is more of a survivor than an Attacker.

Best allround templar build at lvl 95 is imo:

STR: 188+9(Ruby Helmet)
DEX: 155
CON: 165
INT: 21

4.0 Fatal attack
4.6 Protect Intensified
4.6 Sword intensified
4.6 Weapon strike.
2.0 Response intensified



If you gonna go with dex attacker don't use Greco's build, doubt he put much thought into that one lol

Dex templar:
CON: 168(use a 168con blunt)
DEX: 200
STR: 163+9(ruby helmet)

4.0 Fatal attack
4.5 Protect Intensified
4.6 Weapon intensified
4.6 Weapon strike
2.0 Response intensified

and try not to use all the 4 fatal attacks if u learn fatal attack at 4.0. use 3 of them instead, for a better cooldown and maximum dmg.

harder to kill? Well built attacker, really, they take lower damage from both magic and melee/range, they have higher magic resistance and better ex defense, while having SAME defense as a templar.
the advantages of templars in survivability are the high block rate and hp. Even attacker skills are all made for survival and longer battles (lower damage, more targets, higher status effect (slowdown done by 3 skills, one of them heals the attacker)

going over from a dex attacker (215 dex 115 con and 208 str -> lvl 95) perspective and the mentioned dex templar heres what happens vs the human classes

attacker vs warrior
attacker WINS most of the time, no really, dodge the stupid bug of warriors with ur insane dex, ull hit with all ure skills 2 times before the warrior gets theyr skills done again, slowdown will effect theyr skills as well, because they make this all weird go around animation, slowdown cripples this

templar vs warrior
freaking long battle, templar has higher chances but not total chances

attacker vs defender (str)
attacker wins if u can dodge defenders skills

templar vs defender (str)
templar wins

attacker vs defender (dex)
never done this

templar vs defender (dex)
defender wins mostly (yes it does)

attacker vs assassin
dex attacker rarely gets 1hitted, if assassin fails this he is dead
templar vs assassin
actually assassins can kill dex templars, but its a rare occasion, templars damage with dex build on assassins is ridiculous low, assassins can escape most of this

attacker vs archer
fail to 1hit, runs, if caught, dead

templar vs archer
same as above

attacker vs enchanter
attacker can win, but so can the enchanter, if you score 3 full critical hits with skills, the enchanter will go down really fast, turn on lysis and he is doing 1k per skill on you, manage your evade well and u got around 70% chance to win
templar vs enchanter
long and annoying 50% chance battle

attacker vs sorc
your screwed here, 15k hp, even with lysis once ur evade is down ur so totally raped, the only class that i actually felt death was coming

templar vs sorc
well played templars will always win

attacker vs cleric
none can win when well played, cleric has higher chances
templar vs cleric
templar CANT win, cleric can if the templar makes mistakes

attacker & templar vs priest
lolwut, nvm this battle

so here be the judge yourself if attackers are that bad, this is a dex based attacker, which is one of the strongest builds they have, compared to the above mentioned dex temp, considered the best 1on1 chara by some, i disagree.
