Ohai.
Some of allready know this, most of you don't.
Anyway, as i'm sure many of you remember, RYLu(while it was still alive) had a big problem with DDOS attacks.
The main actors behind these attacks was HenriqueMB(aka Chapolin), VitorMB and Light-Speed(aka ssdark).
Unless we followed theire demands they would put the server down so no one could play, so we didn't have much choice then to go with it while waiting for our new DDOS protected host(wich we didn't get much use of cuz of Stealthy).
What did they ask for? Mostly items but also other things like to unban friends and to make public statements in-game.
An example..
GM-Windfara checked up on Light-Speed(gunner) after numerous reports in-game about him, when checking on his stats, Windfara saw that he had an impossible amount of extra def, so he did his job and banned him.
What he didn't know was that Light-Speed was connected to these tards and it didn't take long before they brought the server down.
So after talking to them they required Windfara to go in-game and spam about how he had made an mistake and that Light-Speed was an legitimate player, ssdark(the owner of Light-Speed) also made a thread here on the forums about this wich ofcourse made Windfara look like a terrible GM when all he did was, 1. ban a cheater, 2. helping the server get back online after a DDOS attack.
Don't you just love seeing VitorMB's videos where he takes on entire CZ alone? OMG, he is so pro! Right..?
Well.. Not really.
Anyone with +9 Lunar Boots, +9 Merdeka Gloves, +8 rings of RYL, +8/+6 necklace(don't remember exactly), unlimited amount of L HP/MP(arena) pots, L ruby pots, L blackmoon pots, L Saphire pots among other type of heals and modded EQ would be able to do the same.
An unbuffed/unpotted HenriqueMB(sorcerer), freshly spawned out of the arena, and oh my 280 ed.
Those base stats + pots + his shield with ~50% block, no wonder all those akkans had a tough time taking him down.
