Instructions:
1. Download all of the files above.
2. Install R.Y.L. (Do Not Open After Install!)
3. Install The UPDATES.
4. Open R.Y.L. and close it right after (Very Important Step!)
5. Install the PATCH.
6. Open RYL and it should work!
If R.Y.L. does not work then the read the following:
R.Y.L. Didn't Work!
1. First of all, did you make an account? If not go to Welcome to
R.Y.L: Fire And Ice and register.2. If it still does not work then open Internet Explorer
(Not Firefox, not Opera, But Internet Explorer) Then Click 'Tools' > 'Internet Options...' > 'Connections' Tab > 'LAN Settings' button. Now check the box that says 'Use a proxy server for your LAN...' Fill in this for the address: "74.71.225.89" - Without the quotes of course. Then type: "80" for the Port (Once Again, Don't Type The Quotes). Then click on 'OK', 'OK', and close Internet Explorer. Try R.Y.L. again.
3. If it still didn't work then there can be only one problem - Game Guard. Here is a patch for gameguard:
GameGuard Fix When you download this file you must extract it to your 'system32' folder. Your 'system32' folder is located in 'My Computer' > 'C:\' > 'WINDOWS' (OR 'WINNT') > 'system32' Overwrite the originals if it asks. That should definitely do it. Login and play.
If you did the Internet Explorer step then you must remember to uncheck the 'Use a proxy server for your LAN...' box when you are not playing R.Y.L. and you have to make sure it is checked when you want to play.
