Going to Medellin, Colombia?

Im going to Medellin this Christmas, and plan on spending every night out clubbing or at a bar of course lol does anyone know any NICE places, preferable un El Poblado I think people there dress ryl casual, so what does everyone wear to night clubs. Last time i was there i wore a dress outside and almost got raped lol. Would it be okay to wear one to a club or would everyone think im slutty there? thankss aton xoxo

1. Women in Medellin like in other latin american cities wear dresses or regular clothing like in the USA just usually a little bit more fashionable and upscale. Maybe the last time you dressed too revealing. Lic.Gregory Kearney Lawson.
2. Medellin has a lot of great places to go out to.... the most famous is of course, Mango's. It's supposed to be world class, though I haven't been there.. Bahia isn't too far from there and its quite an atmosphere also. It's a huge place with dancers performing on platforms and stages all over the place for effect. You can go to Parque Lleras where there are several bars, clubs, and restaurants. It's quite popular and I believe its near or in El Poblado. For your dress, well you've been there before so you know... a nice skirt and blouse or jeans and a nice blouse are pretty standard in Colombia though you'll of course you know that Medellin is a fashion center, so be sure its current.
